With this nice Karen Davies silicone mold you are able to make a beautiful lace for finishing of the top or bottom edge of your cake. The very fine lace gives your cake a vintage look.
You can add extra detail to the lace by piping dots or loops for an extra lacy edge. Use a very fine nozzle and royal icing. To disguise the join of the mold you can use a bow, for example the Karen Davies Silicone mould Bows. Give the lace an extra dimension to powder a color onto the ribbon and bows before applying to the cake, as shown in the picture.
