With Renshaw Marzipan Natural you can give every cake a smooth, professional and delicious finish. Renshaw Marzipan Natural is pliable, easy to knead and perfect for covering cakes or modelling decorations, whether you are making a simple birthday cake or an elegant wedding cake.
The marzipan has a rich almond flavour thanks to its 25% almond content and can easily be rolled out without tearing. You can easily colour or flavour Renshaw Marzipan Natural to fully personalise your creations. Ideal for creating a smooth cake finish, modelling figures or cutting decorative details with cutters and moulds.
Knead the marzipan well until it becomes smooth and pliable. Lightly dust your work surface with icing sugar to prevent sticking and roll out the marzipan evenly to the desired thickness. Turn the marzipan a quarter turn regularly to avoid sticking. Carefully place the rolled marzipan over the cake and smooth it down for a neat finish. Trim any excess marzipan neatly along the bottom edge. Leftover marzipan can be kneaded again and used for decorations.
