With the Colour Mill Oil Blend Emerald you can add beautiful color to your cakes and pastries. The Colour Mill Oil Blend allows the dye to blend perfectly with high-fat ingredients, including sugar, eggs and butter. All water-based ingredients have been removed and replaced with baking & cake-friendly oils; these oils blend much better than water-based gels (because we know oil doesn’t mix well with water).
Because of its unique formulation, the Colour Mill Oil Blends blend well with the fats and oils in the dough, resulting in remarkably vibrant, rich, consistent colors that don’t fade. The oil works remarkably well in buttercream, swiss meringue, chocolate, cake batter, ganache and sugar paste. It also works well in flower pastes, gump pastes, modeling pastes, marzipan, cake mixes, doughs, frostings, fillings, isomalt, piping gel, cake lace mixes edible lace and more.
With the Colour Mill Oil Blend you will add beautiful colors to cakes and pastries, and because you need much less, it is also more economical to use. Because of the high concentration you need much less than you normally use for a much more beautiful and colorful result. You only need a small drop for the desired color. For dosing, we recommend using a cocktail stick.
There are over 50 different colors to choose from and each bottle contains 100 ml. The bottle has a convenient squeeze cap for greater accuracy. Colour Mill can be diluted with alcohol to make an edible paint. Due to the oil, drying may take longer than average.
