Dr. Oetker Lava Cake

With this Dr. Oetker package, you can make four delicious chocolate cakes with melted chocolate as the centre in no time at all! The package contains a cake mix, chocolate icing and four baking tins. Extra tasty with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

• Only add eggs to the mix.

Preparation: Preheat the oven to 230°C (hot air oven 210°C). Place the bag of chocolate icing in a bowl of hot water for 10 minutes. Grease the moulds with butter and sprinkle with flour. Then place the forms on a baking tray, but not on a baking grid! Next, mix the mix and the eggs in a bowl with a mixer on the highest setting to a light batter. After 10 minutes take the glaze bag out of the water and stir the liquid glaze through the cake batter. Then divide the batter between the cake cases on the baking tray and place them slightly below the centre of the oven. Bake the cakes for 8 to 10 minutes, making sure that the top does not get too dark. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 10 minutes. Serve the lava cakes immediately on a plate, by inverting them and removing the mould from the plate.
