Create the most beautiful cake decorations with FunCakes Fondant!This smooth and flexible fondant has a delicious vanilla flavour and is super easy to work with. Ideal for covering cakes, cutting out shapes, or modelling fun decorations. Just knead well before use and roll it out on a thin layer of icing sugar. Want to add a personal touch? It’s also perfect for colouring with food colouring. To cover a round cake of 20 cm in diameter, you’ll need approximately 500 g of fondant.

• FunCakes Fondant has a satin finish, ideal for covering cakes and creating clean, sharp cut-outs.
• The fondant is also suitable for creating decorations, you can easily model or create different shapes and designs.

The following process is recommended for the best result:

• Let the fondant come to ambient temperature. Knead the fondant firmly until it is smooth and elastic. Dust the work surface with a bit of icing sugar and roll out the fondant with a rolling pin to an even shape, 2 to 3 mm thick. Turn the fondant a quarter turn to prevent sticking. Are there still small cracks visible on the edges when the fondant is rolled out? Knead again firmly until the edges are smooth when rolling out. Then the fondant is ready for use.
• For colouring: let the fondant rest for one hour after colouring, covered, for the best results. Knead the fondant again before further processing.
