The smooth and flexible fondant has a delicious chocolate flavour that gives your creations a surprising taste. It is super easy to work with and ideal for covering cakes, cutting out shapes or modelling fun decorations. Knead the fondant well before use and roll it out on a thin layer of icing sugar. To cover a round cake with a diameter of 20 cm, you will need approximately 500 g of fondant.

The following process is recommended for the best result:

• Let the fondant come to ambient temperature. Knead the fondant firmly until it is smooth and elastic. Dust the work surface with a bit of icing sugar and roll out the fondant with a rolling pin to an even shape, 2 to 3 mm thick. Turn the fondant a quarter turn to prevent sticking. Are there still small cracks visible on the edges when the fondant is rolled out? Knead again firmly until the edges are smooth when rolling out. Then the fondant is ready for use.
• For colouring: let the fondant rest for one hour after colouring, covered, for the best results. Knead the fondant again before further processing.
