aste for modelling or create different shapes and designs. To cover a round cake with a diameter of 20 cm, you will need approximately 500 g of fondant.
Preparation: The following process is recommended for the best result: Let the sugar paste come to ambient temperature. Knead the sugar paste firmly until it is smooth and elastic. Dust the work surface with
a bit of icing sugar and roll out the fondant with a rolling pin to an even shape (2-3 mm thick). Turn the sugar paste a quarter to prevent sticking. Are there still small cracks visible on the edges when the fondant is rolled out? Knead again firml
y until the edges are smooth when rolling out. Then the sugar paste is ready for use.
